On Valentine's Day we decided to get out and do something, even though the weather wasn't great. Chris took me to the gorgeous historic town of Stamford and Burghley House. Built and mostly designed by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587, the main part of the House has 35 major rooms on the ground and first floors. Unfortunately it wasn't open this time of the year and neither were the gardens but we had a wander around the grounds and saw deer from a distance. It was very picturesque! We will definitely be making a return here 👑
As you can see at the bottom of this blog there's some weird pictures of Chris and I being silly, that's because we have super amounts of fun and continue to make each other laugh 😊 I will miss this guy when I leave for my travels.
