The play was dark, disturbing and cleverly written. I really enjoyed it! The following day we walked to Kensington Gardens where we saw various statues and Kensington Palace, which was quite nice. The British love statues. From there we walked over to Hyde Park where we searched for some squirrels. After an hour or so we finally saw one and was proceeded to be chased by it, typical!
Once we had, had enough of seeing parks and trees we made our way to the famous Oxford St to do some shopping. The weirdest thing for me was seeing the same shops repeated down the street, that doesn't make sense to me, but that's just London.
The thing I love the most is the buildings, they're timeless. No matter how much the 21st century imposes with all of its trendiness they will always remain classic with their unique English design.
Before we headed home on the 11th we made one last stop at the train station at London.. Platform 9 3/4 from Harry Potter (well, not the real one, but close enough!) I was super excited to get a photo and have a browse through the little gift shop there. It's no surprise I fell asleep on the train on the way home!
